'I'm F*ckin Cook'

So it's finally that time, the beginning of the end of Skins.   And throughout the ups and downs ( the downs mainly being anything past series 4!)I must admit it's been a ball.

So as this chapter reaches an end and I reach the ripe old age of 22 I suppose it's finally time to say Au reviour to my teenage self. But not until I have one more shot at youth by re-living my ever short lived phase of Chavdom. Yes ladies and gentleman I was once, very briefly a chav, complete with faux Adidas trackies and cider on the park all at probably too young an age. And although I'm in no way proud of this stage I feel as if it was a rite of passage that passed me by too soon until I was enveloped in the world of screamo music and far too much black eyeliner. Also known as my Emo days.

So it is with great excitement and a rather large amount of sadness (and well let's face it, a pretty epic crush) that I begin my goodbye to not only the insanely gorgeous Jack O'Connell (luckily only as Cook, denying a girl fully of that beauty is surely some sort of national disaster)but also to a show that propelled me forward down my path towards acting.

Now that's enough soppyness Vickie, it's a T.V show not a favourite pet! So here it goes my goodbye in the form of my Cook inspired look.

Hoody- Primark (men's section), White Scoop back Tee- ASOS, Jeans- Primark, Pumps- ASOS (similiar).

Now as you all may have noticed Cook is in fact a man and I am a woman and as much as I enjoy wearing mens clothing for the sake of this series I thought I best stick with what I know and dress as a woman. Start wearing head to toe male clothing and this would be a completely different sort of blog. Also one thing was completely lacking from my life, as well as my purse by a  means of getting said item when it came around to me putting this post together.

And that would be Cook's signature 'Fred Perry' jacket.

So I decided to stick with the general 'theme' of cook's look which would be...dum, dum, dum (couldn't resist the drama, sorry) fashionable chav. So we are right back to my earlier childhood memories. Hope you enjoy.

(Please excuse the nail varnish!) Midi Rings- Primark, Chain- Primark, Earrings- Republic (sale)

(Look at me thinking I'm all cool!)  Lipstick-  W7 Mega Matte Lips (nude)

So I hope you've all enjoyed these inspired looks. Let me know if theres a series you'd like me to do a series of inspired outfit post's about or any other suggestions for that matter. I'm always happy to hear from you guys.

And they said diamonds were a girls best friend.

Why hello again,
Today I have something very exciting to share with you all. Last week an absolutely lovely lady from a jewellery company called Henryka got in touch with me about a competition. Now you all know I love a competition so when i received this email I jumped off my bed like an over excited child at Christmas and sped on over to the company in question's website to check it out. And guess what? I fell in love...Hurray!

A little bit about the company:

Henryka is a company that stocks Baltic amber and silver Jewellery (now who wants to play a little game of 'how many times will she say jewellery in one post') at very reasonable prices. They stock something for every one and on any budget. The best part is that each piece is handcrafted which means every single one is unique. And let's face it don't we all love knowing that we are the owners of something a Little bit special?

Now I will tell you now that I am not the sort of person to just jump at the bit when it comes to something like this. My love of a good competition aside, I would never want to endorse something I didn't love myself to you just to bag myself some freebies. I respect you all far too much for anything like that. So trust me when I tell you that I instantly fell in love with their stunning designs. Have I mentioned they have an entire range based on cats? Yes ladies and gentlemen cats! Those fuzzy little things that have currently taken the fashion world by storm.

For the competition you have to pick your favourite piece from their collections. And after browsing their website for several hours, over several days ( I'm taking this all rather seriously) I finally decided on what it was that I just LOVED! And that item was *drum roll please*...
Now can we all just take a moment to admire this beauty. I know, I know it's a skull. I promise i tried really hard to not pick a skull but come on it's just so perdy and slightly resembles the Batman costume. Obviously a winner all round! I call it...THE BATSKULL (original I know) or for short, Phil.

So everybody say hello to Phil or as Henryka actually call him 'cognac amber and silver skull pendant' although that's not quite as catchy. Phil is described as a 'silver skull pendent with a large amber cognac ball set in the skull' which is rather spot on as far as a description goes.
Now this pendant doesn't come with a chain however for a very reasonable price you can purchase a variety of different length and style of chain at the checkout. I personally would match this with the 34inch silver curb chain  to keep with the dare I say it 'edgy vibe' of the skull pendant.

However I think that which ever chain you decide on this piece would blend seamlessly into any wardrobe and really make a statement in an outfit. Pair it with a 'grungy' outfit and a dark lip for a truly  Gothic look. Perfect for Autumn/Winter.

Want to know the best thing about Phil?  He has friends! Readers meet DaveSteve and Mitchell.
Over all I have really enjoyed discovering Henryka and their exquisite jewellery and I honestly think that their pieces are all truly unique and would make a stunning addition to any jewellery lovers collection.
Once again I hope you enjoyed this post. It was something a little different for you all. I hope you don't mind these sorts of posts? Let me know which Henryka item is your favourite in the comments below. I'd love to see what you guys think of their incredible collections ( and don't forget the cats!). Until next time.

Top of the Crops

Hello again.

So I'm back once again with a quick OOTN for you all. I posted this outfit on Instagram and a lot of you seemed to like it, so I thought why not do a post and let you all now exactly what I'm wearing.

Crop- Primark, Dungaree's- Motel Rocks, Tights- Asda, Creepers- New Look (similar now on sale)

Necklace- Primark, Lipstick- Barry M (129 Palest Lavender)

Now I am a huge, giant, massive fan of Motel Rocks and their awesome clothing and I was lucky enough to win these gorgeous Motel Rocks Dungaree's on Twitter by entering one of their pretty epic #motelmonday competitions where you can win an item of your choice every Monday. I mean come on, free Motel...yes please! I would definitely suggest following them to stay up to date with these promotions.

After almost passing out in Primark from excitement, followed by a mix up in sizing and what it actually was I had tweeted to enter ( I had originally wanted these babies, but I am so glad I received the ones below as the colour makes them much more wearable. And you never know I may still purchase the others ) I must admit that these have become one of, if not my most worn item of summer. They are not only incredibly cute and comfortable but incredibly versatile. You can literally throw them on over anything and look effortlessly stylish.

On this particular occasion I threw it on over some barely black tights and a simple grey Primark crop and in no time at all I was ready for my date with Mr. Kenneth Branagh and a rather well known writer as I sat my well clothed deriere down in my local cinema to watch Macbeth (which was incredible BTW).

I hope once again that you enjoyed this post and OOTN. Let me know how you style your dungarees in the comments below I love to hear from you guys. Planning much more frequent OOTD/OOTN posts from now on so don't forget to check back or even follow me on either here, bloglovin, twitter or instagram (all @stonesgotstyle) to keep up to date with future posts.

How to Nail it like a Pro (on the cheap).

Good morning. Well i guess that depends on when your reading this..just humour me here.

So if any of you follow me on instagram then you would have seen that I have been a woman on a mission at the moment, a mission to be Rihanna. How did I hope to accomplish this i hear you say? Well with the help of some pointy, pointy almond shaped nails (and a little bling of course).
Now almond shape nails have been a trend for a while now, gone are the days of the perfectly square, straight edged manicure and taking its place are the rounded, razor sharp claws (the only way to describe them, I swear there should be some sort of danger warning given with this manicure) spotted on some of the most style savy ladies of music and film.
Now Que my mission to be Rihanna aka the celebrity that inspired this entire craze in true Rihanna style. We all know that what ever the woman starts we all finish, well maybe not the new grey hair. So i got (in true Vickie style) obsessed with Rihanna's nails and just had to have them. Only one problem, my nails are screwed from both my lack of vitamins (yes ladies please take your vitamins if you want nice long healthy nails)and working in retail. I swear your nails just break off in that environment! So I knew I would have to fake it till I make it. However this is were we reach our second problem, I am a poor graduate and since leaving said retail job to move home I'm kinda skint. But luckily we had a way out of this little predicament aka my birthday! Yes on the 30th of June I turned 22 and my lovely sister knowing that I had become a little obsessed with almond nails bought me a voucher for me to get my nails done professionally. However that wasn't for a few weeks and I needed them now! I also needed to test out if I actually really liked them once on.
Luckily me and my father have an obsession called B&M and B&M have millions of brilliant offers on cosmetics. It's like a little heaven  that luckily is friendly on the purse. So whilst browsing through this little heaven I discovered some (rather cheap) looking nails with the pretty epic price tag of 89p . Well needless to say they accidentally 'fell' into my basket and as they say the rest was history.

What you will need:

  • Fake nails
  • Nail Glue
  • nail file
  • Topcoat and Basecoat
  • Nail varnish
  • Gems (optional)

(left to right) Nail file, fake nails, nail glue. topcoat & basecoat by Jessica, Rimmel 60 second nail laquer in shade 430 Coralicious, MUA Nail varnish in shade 5.

How I created the almond nails:
  1. Match the fake nails to your own
  2. file them into shape
  3. Stick on securely (try not to stick yourself to anything else)
  4. Paint with your favourite nail varnish
  5. Add gems (this is an optional step but everyone loves a bit of bling right? For the gems I used and how to reply check out my review by clicking this link)
  6. Add a topcoat to secure your art work in place.
  7. Enjoy Riahnna style (OK the dancing round your room to Rihanna step is also optional but definitely suggested!)

Going Au Natural.

So there are the steps and here are some pictures of the different nail looks I've created using these nails and technique.

Rimmel 60 second nail laquer- 430 Coralicious

MUA Nail Varnish,-Shade 5, Glamorous nail Gems.
Nail varnish (mums), Glamorous nail gems.

And now for the professional:

OPI- The Trill of Brazil
Overall I would definitely suggest making your own almond nails using a cheaper brand if contemplating getting them for real. After all the actual nail shape/length can be rather tricky to deal with in real life situations like doing up a button or flushing the toilet (TMI i know but what is with those new push down flushes, i swear i nearly lost a finger a few times) especially if your not used to wearing them. They also make fantastic bases for exploring your favourite nail art designs! So next time you want to drop it like Rihanna add a 'cheaper' addition to your style with some super diva'ish pointy nails.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know your opinion on almond shape nails in the comments below. Love them or hate them? Also add me on instagram, username 'stonesgotstyle' for lots more nail looks. Thank you for reading.

P.s Let me know if you would like a tutorial on the Rihanna look in the first picture.

'They think were in Heaven, but were living in Hell' Skins Lookbook Part 2: Cassie

Why hello there and welcome back.

Well it's that time once again or as I like to call it Skins O'clock. It's all been very exciting so far right? I mean what will the future now hold for Effy? Will the rest of the series carry on with the Naomi storyline? Only time will tell my friend as tonight is the start of a new chapter in the latest series with the return of Cassie. Now I feel that before we commence I should tell you, I am a tiny bit in love with Cassie. And by tiny I mean I Love, love, love her! She has in fact always been my favourite character among all series. Now come on admit it who didn't have a bit of a Cassie obsession...I mean how can such a small girl be so endlessly fascinating? And do not even get me started on her style, her (insanely cute) relationship with Sid or the way she say's "wow" because we will be here all day. I will admit right now that that last bit was a tad weird. But seriously have you tried mimicking her infamous "wow" because let me tell you my friend it is blooming hard work!
Needless to say I am very, very excited for tonight's episode and I think I speak for us all when I say that part of that excitement stems from seeing what she wears! Also my friend is in one of these two episodes and a spot of 'where's *insert name* (you know who you are ) is always welcome! Let's just say that tonight at 10pm we all know that I will be sat with my face pressed against the T.V, wagging my foot in excitement.

Sunglasses- Primark, T-shirt- Junk Food via House of Fraiser (old), Pencil Skirt- G21 Asda

Pearls- Thailand,  Lace hair tie- Primark

Frilly Socks-Topshop , Flatforms- River island (sale)

W7 Cosmetics- Mega Matte Lips

I hope you all enjoyed this look,  I've always been a fan of Cassie's quirky vintage style and love a good socks and sandals combo so putting this outfit together has been thoroughly enjoyable.  Let me know what your thoughts in the comments below or maybe even leave me your favourite Cassie look or your opinions on the new series so far, i love a good chinwag.  Well until next time...

Why hello Glossybox how very nice it is to finally meet you!- June 2013 (in July)

Why hello again and how lovely it is to see you back.
Now if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you will know that  June happened to be the month of my birth. It also happened to be the month that I admitted I was too poor to remain in my flat in what can only be described as 'gangsterville', so I packed my bags admitted defeat and moved back home! (only for a little while I'd like to add). Needless to say that meant that I had a little more cash to spend on myself and a very good reason to do just that.
Now Glossy box is one of those things that I've been wanting to subscribe to for quite a while now and I've always told myself that if I ever had the money I would subscribe. So role on the day I was moving back home , (also known as payday) oh how I love a happy coincidence. When I finally bit the bullet and straight away (actually in the car on my way home) took the plunge and ordered my first box. I expected seen as it was the end of the month that I would start my subscription from July. However I was delighted to find that I was wrong and that it would indeed start with June. Happy Birthday to me!

I should probably explain a bit of what Glossybox actually is (just in case you've been living under a rock for the past 2 years!). Well Glossybox is a monthly subscription service designed and aimed at the beauty obsessives in us all. It is technically a pretty pink box that is delivered to your doorstep every month, inside lies 5 luxury samples to full size products from different, exciting brands. Now the idea behind this little treat is surprisingly not to make you feel like it's your birthday every month (although that is a welcome side affect) but to introduce you to up coming brands or established favourites that you perhaps wouldn't normally pop in your basket. Then if you like a product you can go onto the main site and order the full size/more/everything in your box, you decide. The price of this monthly little gift is a very reasonable £10 or £12.95 and as far as I've ever seen the value of the boxes themselves are always higher, so definitely worth the money!
And just over a week ago after waiting what seemed like a lifetime, but was actually less then a week I received a snazzy little package. Now as a You Tube addict I had already seen many a June unboxing and therefore knew sort of what to expect. Below is what I received in my first box. A box that I was definitely not disappointed by despite my high expectation.

1.

2.

3.

4.
5.
What I received in my June box:

  1. John Frieda- Frizz Ease Original Serum (30ml?)
  2. Monu Professional Skincare- Hydrating Moisturiser SPF 15 (30ml)
  3. MEMEME Cosmetics - Eye Inspire Mono Eye Shadow (full size)
  4. Figs & Rouge Lip Balm- Cherry Blossom (full Size)
  5. Helen E Cosmetics- Lip Crayon in shade Red Carpet (full size)

John Frieda- Frizz Ease Original Serum
Now this was the first thing that jumped out at me when I opened the box, maybe it was the holographic packaging, maybe it was simply because it was the largest product (small minds hey). However one thing I know is that this was a product that I suspected could be in my box and that I was actually thrilled to find had been included.
This is also one of those products that bloggers and practically everyone has raved about in their lifetime. I know my older sister (a woman blessed or cursed with rather giant curly hair, I will leave you to decide on which) used to swear by this when she was around 16 years of age. However its just something that unfortunately  never made its way into my shopping basket.
I do however have rather frizzy/uncontrollable  hair with a natural wave. And although now that I've finally got it cut it is a bit more manageable I will never turn my nose up at a product that is intended to make my life easier by smoothing my rather over excited hair. Saying that this is one of the products that I actually haven't had chance to use yet, what with said hair cut and everything. However I'm sure that will be resolved soon. Review anybody?
Now onto value for money. This product is £6.25 for 50ml and if I remember correctly the size I received in my Glossybox was 30ml therefore I'd put this as a luxury sample.
Monu Professional Skincare- Hydrating Moisturiser SPF 15.
Now I know from reading/watching other people's unboxing's that Monu is a brand that frequently appears in the world of Glossybox. I have always read good things and was very excited to receive this moisturiser, especially with it including SPF as things do seem to be warming up in England (yes I can't quite believe that I've just said that either!)so any protection for my practically translucent skin is always welcome.
According to the trusty Glossybox leaflet this product is meant to 'tick all the protection and prevention boxes' with 'zinc oxide SPF (which) provides broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection against the sun's damaging rays while vitamin E fights free radicals and soft focus technology helps to blur imperfections and correct skin tone'. Hmm anybody else understand a word of that because I certainly didn't, however as the simpleton that I am I'm going to take that as a good thing.
Now I have a confession to make when it comes to skincare I'm a cheap and cheerful stickler to the tried and tested. Which means I've been using Simple's Moisturiser daily for a rather long time now. I mean come on when you can get a decent moisturiser that works for you for under £2 why would you ever change. Having said that I've been very impressed with the Monu moisturiser, and while I'm not entirely sure whether the free radicals have been fought off by the spectrum UVA or UVB (sounds like a odd battle between the Starship Enterprise and the cast of Les Miserable if you ask me)I do know that this has accomplished it's mission of moisturising my skin and fought off the suns rays. No pesky sun burnt nose for me thank you very much!
Also on a side note I have to mention that this smells divine! Although I can't quite put my finger on the scent me and my sister (who was roped into this mission)decided it smelt like expensive skincare and maybe lemons? If any of you can tell me what this smells like in the comments I would be greatly appreciated!
Now on to price of this baby. Well for a skimper like me this product is rather expensive at £29 for the full size which is again 50mls. However I would highly recommend this to someone who liked to splash out on decent skincare (I bow down to you as I wish this was something that I did). Again this was 30ML and a Luxury tester.
MEMEME Cosmetics-  Eye Inspire Mono Eye Shadow
Now I know that many bloggers rave about this brand however once again I have never owned anything by MEMEME before although I'm always meaning to pick something up, so I was very happy to receive this. Also I joined Glossybox more for the make-up side of things so am always happy to receive Make-up in my box.
The first thing I noticed about this was the colour. The shade is 09 Mirage and it is a lovely bronzy, gold colour with a lot of sparkle. I am a fan of bronze shades and have actually been looking for one for a while. This one is very well pigmented and I think it will go extremely well with another make-up product I received in my box (spoilers). I have tried this product and I am very happy with it so far it applies smoothly and packed on top of a bronze toned cream shadow it did not crease at all throughout the day. Not much else that you can ask from an eye shadow really.
This was a full size product at the retail price of £4.99.
Figs & Rouge Lip Balm- Cherry Rouge.
This was another one of those products that I suspected was in my box as it seemed that almost everyone had received one. Mine is in Cherry blossom and it smells incredible. It is a 100% natural tinted lip balm that gives lips a lovely red/pink tint. The formula is rather thick but very nourishing. I think the thing I love most is that it is 100% petroleum free, something I am now an avid supporter of after my friend explained to me just how disgusting it is for ones pout!
Also can I just give a shout out to the packaging? I mean come on how pretty are these little tubes!
So yes I am very happy with this product I mean after all can a girl really have too many lip balms? Especially in the summertime.
Once again a full size product that retails at £5.00.
Helen E Cosmetics- Lip Crayon
Now this last product is again another beauty item so I was very happy about that. It is also...may I have a drum role please, a red lip product. Now you all know I love a good lip product especially a red lippy (I counted and I own 15, now 16!). And once again this was by a brand that I've always been intrigued by but never purchased. We actually used to sell this at my old work and I often wondered what was in those gift bags everyone seemed to be walking around with.
Saying that I have not actually heard much about the brand as a whole so I am very intrigued to see how this rates. I've still not tested this out apart from to swatch it on my hand but it seems to be a lovely classic red colour(what do you expect from a lipstick called Red Carpet?)  which I think will go beautifully with the MEMEME Eye shadow for a classic 40's look. I'm also loving the crayon idea as I like anything that I can just draw onto my face like a small child!
Again this was a full size item at £8 for the 2g of product.
Overall
So over all I have been very impressed by my first box. Although I feel like as the 'summer box' it should have maybe included some more immediately summer Esq products. However I get where they are coming from with the SPF, lip balm and hair smoother, I mean we've all been caught by that pesky humidity in summer but the red lip crayon, classic but an odd choice for a summer box I'd expect more corals or pinks.
I did however receive 3 full size products that all together add up to £17.99 (not going to lie I just used a calculator!)which is more then the box cost including postage. As well as that I did receive (kind of) 3 beauty items which is why I joined as well as discovering new brands which is another main reason. Also I can now store my make-up like a pro (don't try and tell me that's not part of why you joined!)
So there you go, my first Glossybox review/unboxing and an ever so slightly weird June box in July post. We like to do things different around here. I hope you all enjoyed this review/unboxing, as I said it was my first of these type's of posts so be nice. Also let me know if you would like one of these unboxing's every month as I have found this very enjoyable. Also let me know what you received in your Glossybox in the comments below as I'd love to know how we differed (if so). And thank you for taking the time to read this. I still find it odd that people actually like to listen to my ramblings.

Fashion Flashback: Now this is a story all about how...

Why hello and welcome back.So I feel as if every one of my posts always starts out with one of these little updates. So why break the habit of a lifetime? That said I'd like to start this post by holding my hands up and stating that yes, tonight's post was indeed meant to be my second Effy look. You weren't wrong my clever friend (don't miss a thing do you). However due to the fact that I am currently living out of a rather small rucksack while dog sitting at my mother's I hoped you might let me off with another fashion flashback?

Once again this flashback goes back to the good old 90's, I mean after all everything good was created in the 90's ;) And well lets face it since Will and Jaden smiths epic The Graham Norton Show appearance we've all been a tad Fresh Prince of Bel Air crazed! I think we can all hold our hands up and admit that we sang along and had a little boogie during that now infamous moment.

Now as brilliant as the entire wardrobe department was I would be here forever if I tried to explain it in all it's entirety. So I decided to focus on my fashion inspiration of the series, the younger of the Banks family brood Aka Ashley banks. With her enviable wardrobe full to the brim with grungy crops, knee high socks and lets face it...some pretty snazzy hats. Liebster Award

Why hello again, how very nice to see you on this fine, fine day. I must admit that we would have seen each other sooner, as if any of you follow me on twitter you will know that this is attempt number 3 at getting this post to you!

Yes my friends as I am currently in the process of moving back home for a while, finding time to actually sit down and write is getting increasingly difficult. However that finally happened the other night. I'd made my nightly hot chocolate, grabbed my shape yogurt (my current addiction...my God they actually taste like apple crumble!)and snuggled down to write. I'm not going to lie sometimes I'm not the brightest bulb in the bunch and I am easily confused. This therefore did not help when trying to figure out how to create this post as it required a bit of prep. Needless to say though that after several hours the prep was complete and the post had been born. Full of witty antidotes and clever clogs answers (that I have no hope of ever remembering) and at 1am on Friday night, my masterpiece was about to be born! Like Baron Frankenstein watching in awe as my creation bursts into the world I excitedly hovered my cursor over the publish button and....nothing it had disappeared!

You may now be muttering to yourself about pressing the save button while writing, saving to draft and making a copy. Well my clever friend I did indeed do all of those important things and every single precaution failed me! I feel like one of those poor devils on Jeremy Kyle who mutter that infamous phrase 'but the condom broke'. The world had officially failed me.

Needless to say I did what every mature now 22 year old would do in this situation...threw a massive hissy fit and went to bed.

So now that I've shared my terribly, traumatic experience with you all I feel you may be wondering why this post was so important. Well I will tell you. I have recently had the honour of being nominated by the lovely Lauren and Claire from Stylingo  ( If you've not checked them out yet then why not? They are not only fabulously insightful into the world of beauty/fashion and witty to the boot, or should I say perfectly chunky heel? But they have me giggling my pants off and rushing to buy my next bargain purchase in the same breath!)for a very exciting award called 'The Leibster Award'.

Now what is the Leibster award I hear you say. Well it is a brilliant way to discover and help fellow 'new' bloggers. And let's face it helping each other out is what its all about really. (excuse the rhyme)

The rules are as follows:

  • Answer the 11 questions by the nominator.
  • Choose 11 fellow bloggers (with less then 200 followers) and link them in your post.
  • Create your own 11 questions you'd like them to answer.
  • Inform them of their nomination.
  • No tag backs!

So here it goes:

1. Would you rather have lipstick on your teeth or your skirt tucked into your pants – and WHY?
Definitely lipstick on my teeth as, as a lipstick obsessive this happens to me quite often. The next big beauty trend? No?

2. Where is your favourite place to blog?
In bed whilst blasting out show tunes or a bit of vintage Bowie. Apparently this is the best way to get my creative juices a flowing.

3. Would you rather have a shaved head or have to dress like Dobby the house elf for 6 months?
Dobby the house elf, I've always thought he was a highly fashionable fellow. Although maybe I could be allowed tights if not to keep me toasty then to protect my modesty as that shirts awfully short the kinky little Devil ;)

4. If you had £5000, what would you buy?
A lot of Tom Ford make-up, Jeffrey Campbell Coltrane's and a little holiday for my Pops (aren't I nice, he'd be taking me with him though of course. I'm not that nice!)

5. What is your favourite bargain product?
At the moment it has to be Primark's Argan Oil for £2.50 this baby is a life saver for my frizzy hair, oh and MUA lipsticks of course!

6. If you had to dye your hair an unnatural colour, what would it be and why?
Lilac! Which is actually happening tomorrow but only dip dyed. I'd like to do it all over lilac and I've always wanted my hair white blonde. So maybe a mixture of the two?

7. What’s worse – war or corduroy trousers?
War! I must admit I'm a fan of a man in a pair of Corduroy trousers. Must be the Dr.Who geek within me.

8. Do you ever worry you have a moustache?
Not really, it worked for Tom Selleck.

9. What is your preferring snack and/or beverage whilst blogging?
Coffee, coffee and more coffee! I'm obsessed, preferably from Starbucks but a girl can't be that picky. I also currently have a thing for strawberry pencils.

10. Who is the most annoying celebrity in your opinion and why?
Katie Price. Do I really need to explain?

11. What do you have for breakfast on a normal day?
Every morning I have a coffee with almond milk and a cereal bar. ATM it's been the blueberry biscuit moment's by Special K.

Now for the people I nominate:

My 11 question to you lovely lot:

  1. Do you enjoy any non beauty/fashion related blogs? If so what type?
  2. How did you get into blogging?
  3. You can only use one for the rest of your life which do you choose...Twitter or Facebook?
  4. It's payday do you buy a few cheaper products or splurge on a single luxury purchase?
  5. Shoes or handbags?
  6. What sort of music do you prefer to listen to while blogging?
  7. Favourite trend of 2013 so far?
  8. Is there a certain trend you love but cannot pull of yourself?
  9. What is the beauty item that you could not live without ?
  10. Favourite season fashion wise? Do you prefer wrapping up in winter or flashing a bit of skin in the summer?
  11. Who is your ultimate fashion icon?

So once again it is finally here, the time to press that precious 'publish' button. Now I hope you enjoyed this post. I would like to take this time to thank Claire and Lauren from Stylingo for nominating me and for generally being awesome, they are honestly so lovely. I can't tell you how brilliant I think this idea is, I've loved discovering new blogs through out my preparation for this post. As I hope you will have a wonderful time discovering them with me. As usual let me know you thoughts in the comments below, I LOVE hearing from you guys. Also why not follow me to keep up to date with future posts? You know you want to stay here forever.  Here it goes...wish me luck!
