"Sometimes I think I was born backwards. You know, come out my mum the wrong way. I hear words go past me backwards. The people I should love, I hate. And the people I hate... "
So in an hours time (well depending on when your reading this) some of our favourite characters will be thrust back onto our TV screens. I am of course talking about Effy Stonem , Cassie Ainsworth and James 'Cook' or as they are known to me, my three favourite characters.
Now I know everyone has their own opinion on exactly when Skins lost its pizazz (yes Pizazz). Most say  it was when the original characters were replaced, I however happened to love Skins up until the second change of cast or should I pinpoint it at series 5.
All I say is that no matter when you decided to jump ship and finally give up on the series (unless you rode it all out which if so Touche to you) you must be at least intrigued by the new Skins 'Redux' series (go on we all know that your excited).

Anyway rant aside, my good friend Ashleigh (yes she is mentioned a lot, I just can't seem to get rid of her!) sent me a rather genius text requesting I do an outfit inspired by each of the characters before their episode is aired. And possibly a sneaky little one after the episode is aired to show the evolution of their style.
This as you can imagine filled me with all sorts of excitement and i just had to leap off of my bed and onto my laptop to research, aka watch a lot of skins.
So here it is ladies and gentleman, my first look, aka old skool Effy Stonem, slightly late but hopefully before the episode is viewed.
I didn't want to mimic a look exactly from an episode but wanted to create my own version of the iconic 'Effy' look. Complete with excessive eyeliner, combat boots and snazzy tights. The look i created in the end was inspired by one of my favourite looks from the series.

Now again I am so sorry for not only how late this post is (especially since my last one) but also how short it is. I'm going through the process of moving back home for a while ATM, and trust me if any of you are students or graduates you will know how hectic it is. And therefore I hope you can forgive me.
This move does mean that I will (once i get sorted) have more time and hopefully soon more equipment to post more often for you all.
Thank you to all of you for sticking with me, I appreciate it more then I can say. Make sure you check back for the next Skins look in the series. Let me know what you think of this idea and also the Effy's episode tonight. Now it is time i go and prep myself for the excitement ahead.
