Fashion Flashback- Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Hello my lovelies.

So I hope you don't mind but it's just a super quick post for you all today. Unfortunately I've been very busy in a place without Internet all day and therefore have a lot of catching up to do. That being said I have made a promise to myself that I will try and blog on a daily basis so in the words of that glorious rock star 'the show must go on'.

Tonight I have another 90's style flashback for you all (seen as we all know I love a good bit of 90's anything) in the style of the great 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' aka my younger self's favourite show ever! OK, so my older self's too I do love a good vampire (like seriously you think I'm obsessive about other things, well times that by about a trillion and you reach my vampire love!)It's insane.

Buffy was full of genuinely cool 90's style and I have many fond memories of staying home on family bowling nights to get my weekly fashion (and possibly Spike fix!). Full of leather, mini dresses, knee high boots, cropped vests and well  lets face it more polo necks then you could even begin to count, Buffy has remained one of my all time biggest inspirations. And although I'm still waiting for the day that Spike (aka James Marsters) glides through my window to make me his for eternity I can't help but look back upon this show with fondness that only comes from growing up with something. Fun fact back at school I used to make all my friends play Buffy the vampire slayer, of course I was always Buffy and lets face it pretended to go out with Spike! Embarrassing yes but sorry I'm not sorry.

So as usual let me know what you think in the comments down below. Who was your Buffy crush Spike or Angel? Also I'd really like to know what shows, music or film really inspired you? Let me know and maybe I will do a flashback of it.

xoxo

  1. As someone who went to school with you, long, long ago, I remember(vaguely)playing a re-enactment of Buffy with you and a few others. I still love it! :) Chloe. x
