My Fashion Inspirations- Take 2- Iggy Azalea

'First thing's first, I'm the realest...Drop this and let the whole world feel it'

After becoming the most nominated artist at the MTV Music Video Awards and shooting straight to number one in the chart with her Clueless inspired song 'Fancy', I'm pretty sure you've all at least heard of Iggy Azalea, aka my new girl crush. Who also happens to be the subject of today's fashion inspiration post. Now with her long blonde hair, tiny waist and let's face it phenomenal booty (just watch her collab with J-lo if you don't agree) there is no doubting that Iggy is captivating.

However it is Iggy's approach to life, her career and haters that truly make this young Auzzie my new ultimate girl obsession.  If you are a fan like me and maybe follow Iggy on twitter then you may have seen an epic tweet or two in response to those ridiculous transgender rumors and the heartbreaking news that her boyfriend of 2 years Nick Young had been seen canoodling two separate women on a recent night out. It's her ability to rise above these media battles and stay true to who she is that really make Iggy an inspiration to me.

Also there's her flipping awesome music! Which I must admit I have shamefully tried to twerk to far too many times, all ending in the crippling laughter of my boyfriend. And as for her wardrobe well, that ladies and gent's is heavenly!

Purple Rain

Hello my lovelies, and Happy New Year (29 days later)

Turtle Neck (worn under)- Topshop
Lace up Boots- Chocker Shoes
Multi Coloured Crop Gilet- Prettylittlething

Hello again my lovelies, again I do apologize for my short absence, I promise I am posting as often as I can atm and I hope that you can all stick with me through the rough patches. I am back today however with a new hair colour (what a shocker) and lots of new pretty things to show you. After Christmas my ever so generous and lovely boyfriend (also the photographer of these photo's- links below images) decided to super spoil me by snagging the bits I loved from the Prettylittlething sale. Now if you've been here a while you may have noticed that my love for Prettylittlething.com is everlasting, in fact I have a backed up wishlist that is far far too long! So of course I was chuffed to pieces when he offered to treat me to a few bits (I shall show you the rest in upcoming outfit posts I'm sure) and as soon as the gloomy winter weather permitted I threw on my big girl pants and finally got my butt outside to take outfit pictures.

It's freezing in the UK at the moment, so I of course am layering and wearing a large jumper as well as my usual all black combo! This knitted cold shoulder number is the perfect length to wear with either jeans or leggings and is super cosy and stylish. Underneath I threw on my trusty Topshop funnel neck (also a Christmas gift from the boyfriend who is apparently now sponsoring this post- Love you!) for extra warmth and my trusty high waisted black jeans. The creme de la creme of this look however has to come from both these epic lace up, over the knee boots from Chocker Shoes and my baby aka this amazing crop gilet also from Prettylitlething.

As for the hair, well you know what I'm like, I just can't get enough colours of the rainbow on my head! You like? It is definitely a more showstopping hair colour than I am used to. My lipstick is a new favourite of mine which I was happy enough to stumble across in the pound shop! Got to love a good bargain!

And well basically that is it. Simple, yes, but sometimes it's the simplest outfits you love the best and with my new bright hair and overly loud gilet I think that casual and all black is just what I needed.

As usual I really hope you love this look and have enjoyed this little ootd post.

Untill next time...

Vickie
